What are Classic Plates?

Classic Plates are an upgrade of your Queensland standard issue plates to black and white personalised plates.

You are eligible for a Classic Plate upgrade if your vehicle is currently registered and has Queensland standard plates. You can redesign your standard combination to a black and white design to give your vehicle a fresh look.

Orders can be placed via our website at https://www.ppq.com.au/classic-plates or by calling PPQ on 136 356.

Once you receive your new Classic plates you will be able to attach the plates directly to the vehicle they are registered to. Please know you need to surrender your standard Queensland plates back to your local Department of Transport within 14 days of receiving your upgrade.
