Can I remake/restyle my plates?

You can remake your plates and keep the same design or you can restyle them and put your old combination on a different background.

The pricing for your remake is dependant on your plate combination to get a quote, visit https://www.ppq.com.au/upgrade.  You will need to enter both your plate combination and the QLD CRN associated with the ownership of the plate to get a quote.

The pricing for your restyle can vary depending on the type of plates you have;

• If you own Personalised Plates (Aluminium with embossed characters and border) it is $175 to restyle them.
• If you own Prestige Plates (Flexi plates or Framed Prestige Plates) it is $570 to restyle them. 

Plates intended for a Motor Vehicle are only manufactured in pairs as a Motor Vehicle is required to display two plates in Queensland. For Trailers and Motorcycles, only one plate is issued.

If you're replacing damaged plates, make sure you return the original set to a Department of Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre or Agency within 14 days of receiving your new plates, to comply with Departmental regulations.
