What do I need to know about Retro and Customised plates?

Different to personalised plates, retro and customised plates are a separate category with different rules.

1. Retro and Customised plates must be registered in the same name as the vehicle owner.
2. If there’s a secondary rights holder, names must be in the same order as the vehicle registration.
3. Retro and Customised plates cannot be transferred or sold to another individual.
4. Retro and Customised plates can be transferred to another vehicle in the original owner’s name.
