- All required holes must be slow drilled from the back of the plate starting with a smaller drill bit to create a pilot hole (approx. half size of finished hole) and then a larger drill bit to create the required final hole size.
- The finished hole size must be slightly larger than the screw size to allow for thermal expansion. Ensure the drill bits are sharp and do not apply excessive pressure. Use a pedestal drill and ensure plate is adequately supported while drilling.
- The drilling of holes and affixing of screws or bolts must not alter the appearance of the number plate in such a way that affects the identification of the registration number. Removal of the black film applied to the back of the plate will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please note: The use of double sided tape to attach the plate is not recommended and will void the warranty of your plates and damage the paint on your vehicle.
