I want to sell my plates. What’s next?

If you want to sell your plates, it’s simple through the PPQ Marketplace.
 

1. Firstly, you will need to log into your PPQ member portal. If you don’t have a log in, click here to sign up.
2. If you haven’t claimed your plates before, you’ll need to validate your Driver’s License Number (CRN) and then claim any personalised plates that you own.
3. Once claimed, you will be able to list your plates for sale after entering your plate combination, your desired description and price.
4. To finalise your listing, choose from a three month package for $30 or six months for $55.

Once your plates are sold, you’ll need to fill out a Transfer Application form and lodge it at your nearest Department of Transport and Main Roads. A fee will apply to transfer the plates to their new owner. 

You will also be required to log into your account and turn off your listing.
